Protecting
Directories on Your Hosting Account
With our Control Panel
accounts, protecting the contents of a directory is easy. All that is required is for you
to log into your control panel and choose the "Directories" link. Create the the
directory and choose the username/password. Once a directory is created, the
directory can only be accessed by those usernames & passwords which appear in the
approved list.
When accessing a protected
directory from a web browser you will see the following log in Prompt. Simply type in a
valid username and password and you will gain access. |

Note that this is available only on Control
Panel Accounts. If you do not have a Control Panel Account send upgrade requests to support@we-host.com Be sure to note your Name,
Domain Name, and Account username and password.
